    When it opened in 1965, Sheraton Boston was the city’s first major new hotel in over 40 years—and a proud part of the bold “New Boston” vision that reshaped the city’s future.

    Kon-Tiki Ports restaurant was one of five food and beverage outlets and featured food from Singapore, Papeete, Saigon, and Macao, bringing a sense of the exotic to the heart of the Back Bay.
